Discover the Edwin Bélanger Bandstand in the heart of the Plains of Abraham, just to the east of the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec.
It's a magnificent stage for open-air shows, where the music harmonizes with the site's natural beauty.
Inaugurated in 1993, the Bandstand was named in honour of Captain Edwin Bélanger, who served in particular as the
Musical Director of La Musique du Royal 22e Régiment from 1937 to 1961. This delightful outdoor stage is perfectly
suited to the park's exceptional panorama won over thousands of spectators last summer!
For its 15th season, Between June 16 to August 19, 2007, the National Battlefields Commission will be serving decidedly summer fare as part of its program of 35 musical shows. This year's schedule of events is designed to offer you the opportunity to discover captivating voices and be moved by local and global rhythms, to bask in the intimate ambience of these concerts and be warmed by the generosity of our featured artists. At sundown, every Thursday to Sunday until the end of August, come share in the enchantment to be had in this unique oasis of calm, here in the heart of Québec City.
